In another unprecedented tribute tied to his milestone birthday, V’s global fanbase also orchestrated a special recognition at the Palace of Versailles (Château de Versailles) in France — a site of immense historical and cultural significance.
Rather than a traditional “gifted corner” or property purchase, fans took part in the palace’s heritage patronage program by adopting a stone bench in the Trianon Gardens in V’s name. As part of this official conservation initiative, supporters funded the preservation of the area and secured a dedicated space now referred to as “Taehyung’s Corner.”
This installation was described by supporters as a place for quiet reflection and appreciation of art — meant to mirror qualities fans associate with V’s personality and artistic spirit. According to fan organizers, it also marked the first time the site’s “adopt a bench” program was used to dedicate a space to an international artist, giving the tribute added symbolic significance.
