(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Taesu Lee = SM Entertainment, the agency, announced on the 6th that girl group Espa ranked first on the iTunes 'Top Albums' charts in 14 countries around the world with their sixth mini-album 'Rich Man'.

Released the previous day, "Rich Man" topped the charts in 14 countries, including Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, and Russia. It also entered the top 10 in 29 countries, including the United States, France, Australia, Canada, Italy, and Japan.

"Rich Man" also topped China's QQ Music overall and EP (mini-album) digital album sales charts, receiving a Platinum certification (1 million yuan, approximately 200 million won in sales). It also topped China's Kugou Music digital album sales chart and Tencent Music's K-pop chart. It also topped Japan's Awa's real-time rising chart.

The title song of the same name, 'Rich Man', has started to gain popularity, ranking 10th on the 'Top 100' chart of Melon, a domestic music platform, as of 10 AM today.

In an interview with British music magazine NME, aespa said, "What makes this song special is that it talks about self-love and confidence, not material wealth," and introduced it by saying, "It contains the meaning that if I believe in myself and love myself, I will be rich."
