However, the police confirmed that Mr. A had actually made a specific plan to commit the crime through the seizure and search of his cell phone . Accordingly, they deemed Mr. A 's claim that he committed the crime in a fit of anger to be unconvincing and arrested him . Mr. A has been living off of part-time jobs without any particular occupation and is reportedly taking medication for a mental illness .

Prior to this, on the 7th , a netizen posted on an online community a post titled, ' I will stab and kill aespa's Winter who is leaving the country tomorrow . ' The post was soon deleted , but a fan who saw it reported the matter to the police .
