On the 12th, Son Na-eun's agency YG Entertainment reported, "There was an incident where actress Son Na-eun's personal cell phone was hacked." YG continued, "The hacker demanded money in exchange for not disclosing the illegally collected data, and Son Na-eun complied once," adding, "However, he did not stop there and is threatening again, demanding more money, and is contacting not only the actress but also her family, causing significant psychological damage."

YG stated, "The incident is currently under formal investigation by the police, and we will take strong legal action against any and all criminal acts related to invasion of privacy and threats." They also asked that people refrain from reporting on unconfirmed facts.

This is YG Entertainment. We would like to inform you about the recent incident where actress Son Na-eun’s personal cell phone was hacked.

The hacker demanded money in exchange for not disclosing the illegally collected data, and actress Son Na-eun once complied because she did not want to harm her family and acquaintances.

However, the hacker did not stop there and continued to threaten the actor by demanding additional money. He even contacted the actor's family, causing great psychological damage.

The incident is already under formal investigation by the police, and we clearly state that we will take strong legal action against any criminal acts related to invasion of privacy and intimidation.
