At around 8pm on the 7th, Cha Eun-woo posted a pictorial from Vogue magazine on his Instagram.
The pictorial in question is a sponsored pictorial by the luxury brand Saint Laurent, of which Cha Eun-woo is an ambassador. He posted a short video containing the photos and the shooting site, but did not provide any specific comments.
After Cha Eun-woo's post was uploaded, some netizens left comments criticizing Cha Eun-woo, saying, "The country is in this state, what are you doing now?", "Watch out. Don't you even watch the news?", and "Is this the situation where you should be posting pictures?"
Soon, malicious comments on the post spread online, and other netizens reacted against it, criticizing that the pictorial posted by Cha Eun-woo was recently released by Vogue, and that the upload of the post must have been agreed upon with Saint Laurent and Vogue in advance.
They pointed out that the malicious comments were excessive, and they are said to have responded by saying things like, "I posted this for work, but they are censoring it and acting like a dictator. What is the standard of the people?" and "Isn't this a situation where martial law has been declared? It seems like you are abandoning your work and not eating or drinking because of the current situation."
