Through this agreement, G-Dragon plans to continue various activities that combine art and public interest, such as conducting a joint drug prevention campaign with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
The Justice Foundation, which was launched last year, is a combination of the words “justice” and “peace,” and is an organization named by G-Dragon himself. The Justice Foundation pursues a complex and systematic approach, from addiction treatment to youth prevention education and rehabilitation.
At the time of launch, G-Dragon said, "Artists should also be able to bring peace to the world," and "I want to help more people beyond just music."
Since then, G-Dragon's actions have revealed his sincerity for 'addiction treatment'. Last year, he donated an additional 100 million won to the drug eradication foundation, and on the 13th, at the launching event of 'Peace Minus One Highball', which G-Dragon designed himself, he donated 880 million won to the Justice Foundation, containing the meaning of the number 8, which stands for infinity (∞), to support treatment of alcohol addiction among youth.
Beyond being an entertainment icon, G-Dragon's positive influence as a 'helper in addiction recovery' is attracting attention.
