G-Dragon, Thailand Concert 'Sudden Cancellation' Real Reason "Heatstroke Patients Continue..." [Official]

Group Big Bang leader G-Dragon suddenly canceled an outdoor concert in Thailand in August, citing "unforeseen circumstances," and has now belatedly provided an explanation for the cancellation.

On the 11th, G-Dragon's agency Galaxy Corporation released a second statement, saying, "We regret that the world tour 'Übermancy' concert scheduled for August 2nd has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances."

This is the same content as the first statement released earlier. However, when fans raised questions about the explanation of "unforeseen circumstances," Galaxy Corporation belatedly provided more detailed information, saying, "This concert was canceled due to the unusual and record-breaking heat wave that has led to a series of heatstroke patients, and due to the nature of the Rajamangala National Stadium, which is an outdoor concert venue."

They stressed that the decision was made with "the health and safety of fans as the top priority."

He continued, "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we ask for your understanding that all decisions are made with your safety as the top priority." He also said, "We will announce the location and schedule of the alternative performance venue as soon as possible, taking into account safety and avoiding extreme heat and rainy seasons."

He also added, "Ticket reservations have not yet been processed, so there is no need for separate refund procedures."

Lastly, G-Dragon's agency said, "The artist and our company are doing our best to present a performance that will live up to your expectations, and we are preparing to make that moment a special time that you will remember for a long time."

Starting in Korea in March, G-Dragon has been meeting global fans through 'Übermancy'. He will hold a three-day concert in Taiwan on the 11th, and will then continue the excitement in Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the United States, France, etc.

It's better to cancel than to have people collapse at the concert hall.
