Singer G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji-yong) and YG Entertainment executive producer Yang Hyun-suk are under police investigation for copyright infringement.

According to the police, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul is currently investigating whether G-Dragon and Yang Hyun-suk violated copyright law after receiving a complaint from composer A in November of last year, claiming that they copied his songs without permission.

Person A claims that they violated copyright law by copying a song he composed without permission, changing the song title arbitrarily, and producing and distributing it as an album in April 2009.
