(Xports News Reporter Lee Chang-gyu) Singer G-Dragon (GD, Kwon Ji-yong) was named one of the 21st century fashionistas by an American magazine.

Recently, the American webzine Complex selected a list of the 25 best dressed people of the 21st century.

The list includes actor Timothée Chalamet, businessman and influencer Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber and rapper Travis Scott.

Among them, G-Dragon ranked 16th, the only Asian artist on the list.

They said about why they chose G-Dragon, "It seems like every major fashion house has a K-pop star as their global ambassador these days, but those who have been following it since the beginning know that G-Dragon set the standard."

He added, "He was always ahead of his time. He was pictured wearing the original sneakers, an iconic basketball silhouette from the 90s, before the Nike Air More Uptempo made a comeback in the US in the 2010s."

Since his debut, G-Dragon has consistently been considered a trend-setting star, and in 2016, he was selected as the first Asian male star to be the global ambassador for the luxury brand Chanel, a title he still holds to this day.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon will hold an encore concert for his world tour 'Übermensch WORLD TOÜR' for three days from December 12th to 14th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
