Singer and actor T.O.P, formerly of the group Big Bang, is raising curiosity about the reason behind his decision to block the SNS accounts of his group members and fans.

Singers G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, formerly of Big Bang, celebrated the group's 18th debut anniversary on the 19th by posting commemorative messages on their respective SNS.

On the other hand, TOP is being criticized for blocking fans who tagged him one by one in celebration of his 18th debut anniversary.

It has been reported that he also blocked the accounts of members of Big Bang, including G-Dragon and Taeyang.

Fans are expressing their discomfort at Top's actions.

A fan said about TOP, "He used to block fan accounts, but he blocked me again when I tagged him in a post celebrating Big Bang's 18th debut anniversary."

He continued, "I know they're not Big Bang, but if they're going to do that, shouldn't they not have used their stage name T.O.P from the Big Bang days?" and added, "Even so, they'll still receive their regular payment for Big Bang's music revenue."

Earlier, TOP officially announced his withdrawal from the group last year and erased all traces of his involvement with Big Bang.

On his online profile, his debut date was changed to 2010, the year he went solo.

All awards related to Big Bang have also been deleted.

TOP was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for 2 years, in July 2017 on charges of smoking marijuana four times with singer trainee A at his home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, starting in October 2016, while he was serving as a police officer.

He later announced his retirement from the entertainment industry after his exclusive contract with his then agency, YG Entertainment, expired.

However, in June of last year, news broke that TOP would be appearing in season 2 of the Netflix original series 'Squid Game', signaling his return.
