[All] Daesung, 2024 is a real emergency

Singer Daesung has properly proven his 'emergency'.

On the afternoon of the 15th, Daesung successfully completed the last performance of the 'D-LITE Japan Live Tour 2024 "This Is Me" - Encore)' (hereafter referred to as 'D's IS ME') concert in Kobe, Japan.

This performance was part of Daesung's Japan live tour 'D's IS ME' encore concert that was held for about two months starting in April of this year, and was held four times in two cities, Tokyo and Kobe, starting on the 30th of last month. Daesung proved his all-rounder side with a diverse setlist ranging from solo songs such as 'Wings', 'Ai (Love)', and 'Rainy Rainy' to Big Bang acoustic and dance medley. He also performed his new song 'Umbrella' for fans on the last stage, receiving an enthusiastic response.

Daesung took off in 2024. After being discharged from the military in 2019, he spent a long time resting up and laid the foundation for his activities at his new agency. Starting with his participation in MBN's 'Current King of Singers', he continued to interact with the public by consistently participating as a judge and host on 'Korea-Japan King of Singers', 'Korea-Japan Top Ten Show', and 'Current King of Singers 2'.

He has also been actively pursuing solo music. Starting with the release of his single 'Falling Slowly', he communicated with local fans around the world through his first solo domestic fan day 'This Road', his live tour 'D's IS ME' held in 10 cities in Japan, and his Asian fan days held in Taipei, Bangkok, etc.

The field where Daesung's true value was fully demonstrated was YouTube. He led the YouTube channel 'Home (Outside) Daesung' Season 1 and 2, and not only showed his unique entertainment sense, but also proved his ability as a host.

The highlight of Daesung's activities in 2024 was marked by his group Big Bang. Not only did he perform a surprise stage with the entire group at Taeyang's solo concert in late summer, but he also invited G-Dragon and Taeyang as guests to his 'Collection of Daesung' to coincide with G-Dragon's comeback, receiving a hot response.

Here, at the recently held '2024 MAMA Awards', he went on stage as a full group with G-Dragon and Taeyang, thrilling global fans with his unrivaled stage presence. With such all-round activities, attention is also being paid to Daesung's 20th anniversary since his debut, his plans for 2025.

Meanwhile, 'Umbrella' is a new song that has been released for the first time in about 7 years since 'Delight 2' in 2017. Daesung directly participated in writing the lyrics, adding more meaning to the song.
