Singer G-Dragon announced that he will donate an additional 100 million won, following his victory in the 'Gayo Daejun' favorite idol vote and the donation of 100 million won in his own name.

G-Dragon, who appeared at the '2024 SBS Gayo Daejun' held at Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon on the 25th, decorated the ending stage and presented another legendary stage.

On this day, G-Dragon won first place in a voting event held by 'Gayo Daejun' and the 'Choaidol' app after the stage. 'Choaidol' is not simply a popularity vote among idol fandoms, but a mobile app where donations are made in the name of the idol selected as the one with the most monthly votes or the number 1 cumulative ranking.

Accordingly, 100 million won will be donated to the children's welfare project of the Milal Welfare Foundation in the name of G-Dragon, who was selected as the number one favorite idol.

G-Dragon wittily said, "I thought you were the oldest idol. Thank you to everyone who gave me the favorite idol award," and "Thank you for still seeing me as an idol, guys."

His agency, Galaxy Corporation, added to the warmth by reporting that G-Dragon donated an additional 100 million won to the JusPeace Foundation.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon's new song 'HOME SWEET HOME', which was released last month, is still maintaining the #1 spot on the real-time music charts as well as the daily and weekly charts of major domestic music sites Melon and Genie, 33 days after its release (as of the 25th).
