G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong), a member of the Korean wave group 'Big Bang' and a solo singer, is showing off his might as a K-pop superstar by dominating the charts and creating buzz with his third full-length album 'Übermensch'.

G-Dragon's first full-length album is his first since his second full-length solo album 'COUP D'ETAT' in September 2013, 11 years and 5 months ago. It has been 7 years and 8 months since his second mini-album 'Kwon Ji Yong' in June 2017 that he has released new songs in a single album, including a mini-album.

The fandom 'VIP' and the public have proven their anticipation with numbers.

According to the music industry on the 2nd, 'Übermensch' has been setting new records on Melon, the largest music platform in Korea, since its release on the 25th of last month.

An hour after its release, the title track "TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak)" went straight to No. 1 on the Top 100 chart. All eight tracks (including two previously released songs) ranked within the top 15. This is the first time since the Melon Top 100 chart was reorganized in August 2021 that all songs on an album (8 or more songs) have ranked within the top 15 within an hour of release.

On the Hot 100 chart, which is for new songs released within 100 days of release, all six songs from this album swept the top six spots. On the previous day's Melon Top 100, "Too Bad (feat. Anderson .Paak)" and "Home Sweet Home (HOME SWEET HOME)" (feat. Taeyang, Daesung) held onto the top two spots.

This is superstar Kwon Ji-yong.
