Singer Jennie donated 100 million won to Seoul National University College of Medicine.
On the 30th, the Seoul National University College of Medicine Development Support Committee announced, “Jenny donated 100 million won to the College of Medicine Development Fund to help foster warm-hearted talents who can heal the world.”
Based on Jenny's donation, Seoul National University College of Medicine plans to further strengthen its education and research environment and accelerate the cultivation of talents with social empathy skills.
Kim Jung-eun, Dean of Seoul National University College of Medicine, expressed his gratitude by saying, “I would like to express my gratitude to Jenny for her deep intention to practice good influence beyond simple financial support.” He added, “We will help our students grow into leaders with the qualities of tolerance, acceptance, empathy, communication, sacrifice, and consideration, so that they can live up to the trust and expectations of the people.”
