Singer Jennie's first solo full-length album 'Ruby' was selected as one of the 'Best Albums of the First Half of 2025' by Billboard.

Billboard announced the list of 'The 50 Best Albums of 2025 So Far' on its official website on the 24th (local time). Jennie's 'Ruby' is the only K-pop artist's album to be included on this list.

Billboard said of 'Ruby', "It's Jennie's first project that exudes confidence, elegance, and intense energy," and "Jennie's confident and straightforward lyrics reveal her confident side."

He continued, “Each track reinforces the core theme and reflects ‘Ruby’ as a symbol of Jennie’s artistry,” adding, “‘Ruby’ has a rare, authentic, and multifaceted charm.”

Previously, Jennie's 'Ruby' was selected as one of the 'Best Albums of 2025' by American music magazine Rolling Stone and media outlet Complex.

Jennie's self-produced album 'Ruby' contains a total of 15 tracks, including the title track 'Like JENNIE'.

It was selected as the best album in the first half of 2025.
