Blackpink's Rosé Sets Record for Longest Charting on Billboard by a Korean Female Artist

The Black Label announced that Rosé's first full-length album 'rosie', released in December of last year, ranked on Billboard's main album chart 'Billboard 200' for 27 consecutive weeks, breaking the record for the longest-charting streak for a Korean female artist. 'rosie' became a hot topic because Rosé participated in writing and composing all the songs, and upon its release, it entered the 'Billboard 200' at number 3, setting the highest record for a K-pop female artist.

Moreover, the mega hit song "APT.", which caused a worldwide sensation, is continuing to run wild with the continued love of global fans. "APT.", which garnered attention for its collaboration with Bruno Mars, broke various records on the domestic, Asian, European, and North American charts immediately after its release, and also showed off its prowess by entering Billboard's main music chart "HOT 100" for 41 consecutive weeks.

Rosé has also been nominated for the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards' (hereafter referred to as the '2025 MTV VMAs'), one of the four major American pop music awards ceremonies. 'APT.' is nominated for the main awards of the '2025 VMAs', Video of the Year and Song of the Year, as well as Best Collaboration, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Visual Effects, aiming for a total of 7 awards.

The triple title track 'toxic till the end' from her first full-length album 'rosie' was also nominated in the Best K-pop category, and with this, Rosé showed off her extraordinary prowess by winning a whopping 8 categories, the most among K-pop artists at the '2025 MTV VMAs'.
