An American businessman who revealed a photo he took with Blackpink's Lisa is shocking people by confessing that it was actually an 'AI (artificial intelligence) composite'.

According to the social media of Kevin Xu, founder of the social trading app 'After Hour', he recently posted on social media, "I met Blackpink's Lisa. We had a good time talking about introducing investors, talking about drinks, and Lisa kindly took a selfie for me."

He added, "Actually, nothing happened. It was just a composite image created in just a few seconds with 'Nano Banana.'"

"It's now cheap to create fake images," warned Kevin Siu. "Soon, scammers will be flooding us with these fake photos and stories. Don't believe every selfie you see online."

Netizens who saw this reacted with surprise, saying, "It really looks like it was taken with Lisa," and "I can't trust any photos anymore." They also said, "We need to mandate labeling of AI composites," and "It seems like we're entering an era of large-scale fraud."

Meanwhile, NanoBanana is Google's latest image generation model. Its ability to precisely synthesize human faces and backgrounds is so remarkable that it's been called "a technology that could replace Photoshop."
