[All] Rosé 'Apartment' box office success hurts... plagiarism-harmful 'back talk'

Blackpink's Rosé's new song 'APT.' featuring pop star Bruno Mars is gaining worldwide popularity, reaching number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Some countries have come out in open criticism.

Malaysia's Ministry of Health has raised concerns about some of the lyrics, saying "apartments are being used as places for temptation."

Local opinions included, "We need to be careful considering the age of the people listening to the music," and "This is a far-fetched claim."

There was also a plagiarism controversy in Japan.

It is said that there is a similar section to "I'm Sorry, I Can't Be a Good Girl" by Japanese singer Miku Sawai, released in 2013.

The prevailing opinion is that "this is just a chord used in numerous songs, so it is difficult to see it as plagiarism."
