(MHN Sports Reporter Jang Min-su) What will 'Newtopia' presented by actor Ji-soo, who is not a member of the group Blackpink, look like?

On the 26th, Coupang Play series 'Newtopia' released a still cut of Jisoo in Yeongju Station.

'Newtopia' is the story of soldier Jae-yoon (Park Jung-min) and bear spirit Yeong-ju (Ji-soo) running towards each other through the zombie-attacked downtown Seoul. Ji-soo plays the role of Yeong-ju, a bold bear spirit girlfriend who only runs towards her boyfriend even when the world is falling apart.



The released stills show the happy college days of the 'Goddess of Engineering' Yeong-ju. She also shows herself terrified after encountering a horde of zombies.

Jisoo said, "I fell for Yeongju's charm from the beginning, and I also wanted to bring the character to life well," and expressed her determination by saying, "I hope everyone can have fun watching Yeongju grow in various ways."



Director Yoon Sung-hyun raised expectations by saying, "Jisoo's eccentricity and humor were 99% in sync with Yeong-ju's personality from the script, and she portrayed him better than I had imagined."

Meanwhile, 'Newtopia' will be first released on Coupang Play at 8 PM on February 7, 2025.
