There's news that Changsub will be returning to the musical Memphis after 2 years.

 

The casting is really great~~ 

My favorite actresses, Jung Seon-ah and Son Seung-yeon, are also in the cast~

 

I really wanted to see Changsub in a musical, and this seems to be my chance~~

It starts in June, but there's no Lee Changsub or Jung Seon-ah on the June casting board...;;

Should I aim for July~~ 

Second choice Go Eun-seong and Jeong Seon-ah are also one of my top picks~ I want to see Changsub perform...

If not, Lee Chang-seop and Son Seung-yeon ㅋ

Singer and musical actor Lee Chang-seop will reappear in the musical ‘Memphis’.

Lee Chang-seop will meet the audience once again in the musical ‘Memphis’, which opens on June 17, playing the role of radio DJ Huey.

‘Memphis’ is a southern American city in the 1950s. This work is based on the true story of legendary DJ Deway Philips, who introduced black music to white society in Memphis. It depicts the dreams and love of radio DJ ‘Huey’ who wants to change the world by spreading the ‘music of the soul’ rock and roll, and ‘Felicia’ a singer with outstanding talent who sings in black clubs.

Following the premiere in 2023, Lee Chang-sub is scheduled to play Huey again this time. Huey, played by Lee Chang-sub, is the first white DJ to spread rock and roll, which was considered black music, and is expected to once again receive favorable reviews for his humorous yet tenacious portrayal.

Lee Chang-sub has solidified his position as a musical actor by showing off his stable acting skills and vocals in numerous musicals such as ‘Empress Myeongseong’, ‘Marie Antoinette’, and ‘Winter Wanderer’.
