Billboard 200 No. 3 - World Album No. 1 - Top Album Sales No. 2... Also dominating the album charts

(MHN Intern Reporter Ki Tae-eun) Jin of the group BTS has proven his global top class by making it onto several major charts on the U.S. Billboard.

According to the latest chart (dated May 31) released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on the 28th (Korean time), Jin's 2nd mini album 'Echo's title song 'Don't Say You Love Me' entered Billboard's main song chart 'Hot 100' at 90th place.

This is Jin's third time on the Hot 100. He previously charted on the chart with his first solo single "The Astronaut" in 2022 and the title track "Running Wild" from his first solo album "Happy" in 2024, which peaked at No. 51 and No. 53, respectively.

Jin's presence is even more prominent on the global song charts. 'Don't Say You Love Me' went straight to the top of 'Digital Song Sales', and ranked 5th on 'Global (Excluding the US)' and 7th on 'Global 200'.

In particular, Jin's new songs occupied the top 6 spots on the 'World Digital Song Sales'. 'Nothing Without Your Love' ranked first, followed by 'Rope It', 'Background', 'Loser (feat. YENA)', 'Traveling with the Clouds', and 'To Me Today', ranking in that order, creating the so-called 'lineup' of the charts.

The album chart performance is also notable. 'Echo' ranked 3rd on Billboard's main album chart, 'Billboard 200', breaking Jin's own highest ranking. It ranked 1st on 'World Albums' and 2nd on 'Top Album Sales', making it the first time that his solo work has reached the top of 'World Albums'.

Meanwhile, in addition to Jin, solo songs by BTS members have been loved for a long time on Billboard. On the 'Global 200', Jimin's solo 2nd album 'MUSE' title song 'Who' ranked 103rd, and Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' ranked 157th, successfully charting for 44 and 96 weeks, respectively. On 'Global (excluding the US)', 'Who' ranked 58th, and 'Seven (feat. Latto)' ranked 82nd.
