[All] Double celebration of drug test poster for ‘Strong Woman Kang Nam-soon’ starring Byun Woo-seok

The poster for the JTBC drama 'Strong Woman Kang Nam-soon' won the Grand Prize in the Branded Content & Entertainment category and the Gold Prize in the OOH category and the Print category at the '2024 Korea Advertising Awards' hosted by the Korea Advertising Federation.

According to JTBC on December 2, the Korea Advertising Awards is the most prestigious advertising award in Korea, and this year, about 1,200 entries were submitted to compete in 14 general categories.

The 'Strong Woman Kang Nam-soon' poster, which reflects the drama's content dealing with a new synthetic drug case, was made into a simple test paper that allows you to see if a suspected drug liquid is positive by dropping it on the poster, creating a buzz. It was evaluated as providing a solution to inform viewers of the actual dangers of drugs and protect themselves so that the drug case does not end up as mere drama material.

'Strong Woman Kang Nam-soon' is a drama depicting the activities of mother and daughter heroes 'Kang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi), Hwang Geum-ju (Kim Jung-eun), and Gil Jung-gan (Kim Hae-sook)', and recorded the highest viewership rating of 11.1% in the metropolitan area and 10.4% nationwide (based on Nielsen Korea paid households) at the time of its airing in 2023.

Actor Byun Woo-seok, who enjoyed a sensational popularity this year with his role as Ryu Seon-jae in tvN's 'My Secret Romance', also appeared in this drama, contributing to its success.
