[talk] Wonpil ‘It Was Pretty’ “I poured out 100% of my emotions”

DAY6 member Wonpil revealed the behind-the-scenes story of working on their hit song 'You Were Pretty'.

'예쁜구나' was a song in which Wonpil took the lead in devising the melody. In addition to Wonpil, Day6 member Young K, composer Hong Ji-sang, and Lee Woo-min of 'collapsedone' were listed as co-composers.

Wonpil recalled his mindset when working on the song, saying, "I think I was more than 100% committed. I think I poured out all my emotions at that time. I think I will continue to write like that in the future."

He continued, "There are many people who interpret this song differently than I intended. I didn't think it would go this far, but there are many people who interpret it in a better way. It doesn't matter how you take it. I hope that after listening to it, you will gain some strength to live."
