[News En Reporter Hwang Hye-jin] Band DAY6's leader Sungjin will finally debut as a solo singer.

On October 16th at 11PM, a notice was posted on Day6's official account announcing the release of Sungjin's first full-length album. According to the notice, Sungjin will be releasing his first full-length album '30' through various music sites on November 5th at 6PM.

It has been 9 years since Sungjin released his solo album since his debut as the leader, vocalist, and guitarist of DAY6 in September 2015. As he is considered the solid center of DAY6's vocal line and the owner of an irreplaceable tone, many music fans have been paying attention and anticipating since the announcement. Attention is being paid to what kind of voice and story he will put into his first solo album under his own name.

After releasing the album on November 5th, Sungjin will also hold his first solo concert at the Donghae Culture and Arts Center at Kwangwoon University in Seoul on November 8th at 7 PM, 9th at 6 PM, and 10th at 5 PM.

Before his solo debut, Sungjin released his 8th mini-album 'Fourever' with DAY6 members Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon in March and his 9th mini-album 'Band Aid' in September. Following the simultaneous reverse runs of 'Can Be a Page' and 'Pretty', the two albums released this year successfully topped all music charts or held the upper ranks for a long period of time with the title tracks 'Welcome to the Show' and 'Melting' and the b-side track 'HAPPY'.

After their full group comeback, they proved their strong ticketing power both domestically and internationally by holding their third world tour since their debut, 'FOREVER YOUNG'. After successfully wrapping up the concerts at Yeongjongdo Inspire Arena on September 20th-22nd, Bali on October 13th, and Surabaya on the 16th, DAY6 plans to continue their tour in Jakarta on October 19th, Singapore on November 22nd, Bangkok on the 30th, Hong Kong on January 26th, 2025, Osaka on February 12th and 13th, Tokyo on the 15th and 16th, and Manila on the 22nd.
