[All] Day6 Sungjin, first solo concert that shines on an autumn night

Boy band DAY6's Sungjin shined as an artist with both emotion and vocals at his first solo concert, decorating the romantic autumn night.

On November 5th, Sungjin released his first full-length album '30' and the title song 'Check Pattern', making his debut as a solo artist 10 years after his debut with DAY6. From the 8th to the 10th, he met the audience through his first solo concert 'SUNGJIN SOLO CONCERT <30>', which sold out all tickets for all shows at the Donghae Culture and Arts Center of Kwangwoon University in Nowon-gu, Seoul. On the last day of the concert, the 10th, in addition to the offline performance, he also broadcasted it live online through the Beyond LIVE platform.

Sungjin, who appeared with a microphone in his hand and a rather nervous look, opened the concert with the 8th track of his new album, 'You Wake Me Up'. Through the lyrics of the opening song of the concert, such as "Even when the waves crashed over me, you believed in me so that I wouldn't break", "I move forward again thinking that you are always by my side", "Did I get serious again all of a sudden? I hesitated and said what I wanted to say, but in the end, I'm just saying thank you", he conveyed what he wanted to say the most to My Day (fandom name: My Day) through music.

Then, he sang the new songs 'Like a Child in a Fairy Tale', 'I Don't Want to Do Anything', and 'EASY' in succession, instantly raising the mood of the venue. Sungjin performed all 10 songs from the new album, which he personally participated in writing, at this concert. '30' is a song that Sungjin wrote when he was 30, and it tells 10 stories about his experiences up until he turned 30, so the concert hall was filled with his longing.

Sungjin's appealing vocals on top of the vivid live band session soaked the autumn night with romance, and his sincerity was felt when he got deeply immersed in the song and got moved to tears. The loud cheers on his solo debut song 'Check Pattern' made us feel the fans' great support for 'solo musician' Sungjin.
