The band Day6 announced that they will take strong action against malicious rumors regarding member Dowoon.
On the 9th, the agency JYP Entertainment stated through the fandom platform Fanz, “Recently, false information regarding Day6 member Dowoon has been indiscriminately spread and reproduced. In relation to this, our company plans to respond strongly to all acts of malicious slander and the creation of groundless rumors about Day6 and each member.”
He then warned, “If, after this notice, you continue to spread false information indiscriminately, expand or reproduce rumors, or otherwise damage the artist’s reputation and character, we will take strict legal action.”
They also emphasized, “We will make every effort to protect our artists and will pursue all available legal actions without any leniency or agreement.”
Earlier, comments criticizing Do-woon were posted on online communities and SNS, saying that he had uploaded a video of himself wearing military pants and playing drums during the martial law situation and the resulting impeachment.

Hello. This is JYP Entertainment.
Recently, false information regarding DAY6 member Dowoon has been indiscriminately spread and reproduced. In relation to this, our company plans to respond strongly to all acts of spreading groundless rumors and malicious slander against DAY6 and each member. We inform you that if the above acts of indiscriminately spreading false information, expanding or reproducing rumors, or damaging the artist's honor and character continue after this notice, we will take strict legal action.
We will make every effort to protect our artists and once again state that we will pursue all available legal actions without any leniency or agreement.
We sincerely thank you for always loving and supporting DAY6.
