[All] Day6 to hold special concert at Gocheok Sky Dome "First domestic band"

DAY6 will be the first K-pop band to meet fans at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 20th.

DAY6 will be holding their solo concert '2024 DAY6 Special Concert 'The Present'' at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on December 20th and 21st. This will be the first concert by a domestic band to enter Gocheok Dome and will be a special concert held approximately one year after the 'DAY6 Christmas Special Concert 'The Present: You are My Day'' in December 2023, making it even more meaningful.

In 2024, DAY6 completed the 'Year of DAY6' by achieving numerous records with the music they created themselves. In March of this year, after completing their hiatus, they sang of eternity to My Day (fandom name: My Day) with the album 'Fourever', and in September, they gifted the strength to survive in a world full of comfort with the mini-album 'Band Aid'. The title song 'Melting' from the album 'Band Aid' achieved the first no. 1 spot on the Melon Top 100 chart, staying at the top, and swept Melon's daily and weekly charts, marking a career high. Furthermore, the song 'HAPPY' from 'Fourever' was chosen as a public pick and succeeded in a reverse run, ranking first on Melon's Top 100 chart following 'Melting', proving the power of 'DAY6 you can trust and listen to', 'the next DAY6'.

DAY6 has also shown off their momentum with concerts, selling out three concert halls in Korea this year. In April, they successfully became one with the audience with the 'DAY6 CONCERT' (Welcome to the Show) at the 360-degree Jamsil Indoor Stadium, and in September, they kicked off their long-awaited third world tour 'DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR' (Forever Young) at Incheon Inspire Arena. In December, they will decorate the end of the year with an unforgettable year-end concert with fans at Gocheok Sky Dome. DAY6 displayed their powerful ticket power, selling out the 34,000 audience members at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, the 40,000 seats at Incheon Inspire Arena, and approximately 38,000 seats at Gocheok Dome.

Their entry into Gocheok Dome is expected to be a meaningful point for the group in its 10th year. DAY6, who satisfies the five senses with various elements such as unique video composition and effects, instrument performance, and live skills for each performance, will present an expanded scale at Gocheok Dome. From the small theater concert that announced their debut in 2015 to the largest indoor performance hall in Korea, Gocheok Dome in 2024, expectations are high for the musical narrative that Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon are steadily filling up.

DAY6's third world tour, which is being resumed after approximately 4 years and 8 months, is also going well. All shows around the world were sold out, starting with Incheon in September, followed by Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Surabaya, and Jakarta in October, Singapore in November, Bangkok from November to December, Hong Kong in January 2025, and Los Angeles and New York in April. In addition, they are continuously adding shows and expanding the scale, and next year, they will hold shows in Kaohsiung on January 18-19, Hong Kong on the 25th-26th, Osaka on February 12-13, Tokyo on the 15th-16th, Manila on the 22nd, Sydney on April 6, Melbourne on the 9th, Auckland, New Zealand on the 12th, Los Angeles on the 16th-17th, and New York on the 19th (based on local time).
