If you watch Play, you'll feel like they're a lot like first-generation idols ㅋㅋㅋ

It's not like today's idols who are made up so strictly and have makeovers.

It reminds me of the early days of idols, with a bit of a boy band style + individual characters pushing and growing on their own. ㅎㅎ

I think it's okay to think of them as a 5-member vocal group.
