ENHYPEN, Sold Out → Album Record… Proving ‘K-Pop Top Tier’

The group ENHYPEN has risen to the ranks of the top K-pop groups by showing overwhelming presence in both album records and fan events as soon as they made a comeback.

On the 24th, the event organizer Whosfan Store announced, “The lucky draw event held with Olive Young to commemorate the release of ENHYPEN’s 6th mini album ‘DESIRE: UNLEASH’ has ended successfully with all items sold out.” The event was held from the 6th to the 16th at the Olive Young N store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, and continued to heat up every day with a large number of visitors from domestic and international fans.

At the site, a photo zone and experience booth reflecting the album concept were set up, where fans could freely enjoy the content and upload certification shots to SNS, and the signing album event held on Olive Young’s official Twitter account became a hot topic with over 1.1 million global fans participating. Whosfan said, “It was an unprecedented response,” and “We really felt ENHYPEN’s global influence.”

In addition, ENHYPEN is proving their worth with numbers, proving that they are a true top-tier K-pop group. According to Hanteo Chart, the world's only real-time music chart, their 6th mini album 'Desire: Unleashed' sold a total of 2,145,499 copies in the first week of its release (sampling period: June 5-11).

On the day of release, it sold over 1.89 million copies, breaking the team's record for the highest first-day sales ever. Afterwards, it also ranked #1 on the Hanteo Daily Chart for four consecutive days (June 5-8). This is significant in that only two artists, including ENHYPEN, have achieved 'double million sellers in the first week' this year.

They have also firmly established themselves as one of the 'strongest K-pop teams' by winning three trophies on music shows with their title song 'Bad Desire (With Or Without You)' which stands out for its strong sound and performance.
