They say there are still a few hundred seats left, but it seems different from the other members. Was it because of the controversy over his private life before his military service?

Group EXO's Chanyeol is releasing his first solo album in 12 years since his debut. However, the response from domestic fans is already cold. Tickets for the Seoul concert of the live tour opened on the 7th and general sales began on the 8th, but it seems like it will still be a long way to go before all tickets are sold out.

According to Interpark as of 7:45 PM on the 13th, Chanyeol's live tour '2024 CHANYEOL LIVE TOUR: City-scape in SEOUL' has 465 seats left for the Seoul concert on September 6th and 356 seats on the 7th, for a total of 821 seats left.

This is a result that is in contrast to the fact that all solo concerts and fan meetings of EXO members this year were sold out, except for Kai and Sehun who are currently serving in the military, and Chen who did not have a solo concert. The fact that EXO as a whole has also been consistently holding large-scale fan meetings and showing their continued popularity and solid fandom power, such as with the reverse run syndrome caused by "First Snow" at the end of last year, makes it stand out even more.

The cold hearts of fans towards Chanyeol began with the controversy over his private life that began in 2021. At the time, a netizen who claimed to be Chanyeol's ex-girlfriend claimed that Chanyeol had cheated on her with around 10 women, including girl group members, YouTubers, dancers, and flight attendant BJs, during the three years they dated.

At the time, his agency SM Entertainment did not take any special action, and Chanyeol broke his silence after about four months, posting a long message on the fan community saying, "I apologize for causing concern to EXO-L (fandom name)." He enlisted a month later. However, even after he finished his military service, the fans' reaction was the same. When news of EXO's full group comeback after Chanyeol's discharge was announced, a protest demanding his withdrawal took place in front of the SM building.

According to the official Bluesquare homepage, the Mastercard Hall where Chanyeol will perform can accommodate up to 2,400 people on the first floor if there are standing seats, and the second floor can accommodate 371 audience seats and 10 wheelchair seats, allowing 381 people to enter. Approximately 2,800 people can watch the performance. Since the performance will be held over two days, it is estimated that around 5,600 people can attend this performance.

Recently, the group Urban Zakapa and singer Younha held concerts here, and the group STAYC is about to hold a fan meeting. All tickets are sold out.

However, since his solo album has not been released yet, we can look forward to his future performance. Chanyeol's first mini-album 'Black Out' will be released on the 28th. SM Entertainment announced about this album, "Chanyeol challenges various genres such as rock and hip-hop based on pop, and at the same time, he participated in writing the lyrics and added musical details." There are many performances left. The live tour will continue in 10 regions of Asia, including Ho Chi Minh, Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Jakarta, and Hong Kong.
