Why Not Media's new drama 'Heo's Restaurant' (directed by Oh Hwan-min, written by Kim Kyung-eun, and Sung So-hyun) is a fantasy comedy romance drama about Heo Gyun, a problematic figure from the Joseon Dynasty, who travels 400 years into the future to the present day and unintentionally opens a restaurant. It is based on a web novel of the same name (written by Jeon Seon-yeong).

While the news of the drama adaptation of 'Heo's Kitchen' is garnering attention not only from drama fans but also from web novel fans, the lineup of the four main actors who will lead the drama was revealed on the 18th. Siu Min, Chu So Jung, Lee Se On, and Lee Soo Min are expected to make potential viewers fall for 'Heo's Kitchen' with their unique chemistry.

First, Xiumin takes on the role of Heo Gyun, a timeless genius recognized by all with his mysterious writing skills and outstanding aesthetic sense. He is the first food columnist of the Joseon Dynasty. He is exiled after hearing that his friends have been framed for treason, and ends up time-slipping to the present day. Here, Heo Gyun meets Bong Eun-sil (played by Choo So-jung) by chance and begins cooking. Attention is focused on how Xiumin, with his attractive visuals, will portray Heo Gyun's unpredictable modern life adaptation period.

Choo So-jung plays Bong Eun-sil, the daughter of a restaurant owner who doesn't even have a sign. Eun-sil has a personality that can't stand injustice and is a K-type character who has to say the truth. One day, when Heo Gyun (played by Xiumin) shows up in front of the restaurant looking like a homeless person, she finds him a thorn in her side and gets entangled with him, who transcends time. Expectations are rising for the tiki-taka between him and Xiumin.

Lee Se-on plays two roles: Lee I-cheom, a goal-oriented character who does not care about the means and methods to get what he wants, and Lee Hyuk, who has earned the title of the youngest Korean food master. Lee Se-on is expected to impress viewers with his stable acting skills.

Lee Soo-min will meet viewers with two characters: Maechang, who has a beautiful appearance and an excellent talent, and Jung Mi-sol, a child actress who has experienced South Korean CFs but has a secret that no one knows. Lee Se-on and Lee Soo-min will each play two roles, traveling back and forth between Joseon and modern times, and they are expected to dominate the drama.
