[talk] Jeon So-yeon to participate in Mnet's Unpretty Rapstar as a main producer

Soyeon, who was the youngest contestant on Unpretty Rapstar 9 years ago, succeeded and is now participating as a producer.
I think it's meaningful to me and the program as well...
By the way, Soyeon's hair hasn't grown this long already, right??
Did you style your image in a way that makes it look charismatic? ^^

[My Daily = Reporter Seunggil Lee] Group I-DLE member Soyeon revealed her thoughts on returning to 'Unpretty Rapstar'.

The production conference for Mnet's 'Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-Hop Princess' was held on the morning of the 15th at the Grand Ballroom of Eliena Hotel in Nonhyeon-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, with the production team and the four main producers, Soyeon, Gaeko, Riehata, and Takanori Iwata of i-dle, in attendance.

On this day, Soyeon opened by saying, "I am Soyeon who has returned to 'Unpretty Rapstar' after 9 years."

Soyeon, who was the youngest contestant on "Unpretty Rapstar" nine years ago, expressed her excitement, saying, "I didn't know 'Unpretty Rapstar' would come back. I'm glad that (the program) has been reborn. I was a high school student at the time, and it's an honor to be appearing on this program again nine years later as an adult."

"Hip-Pop Princess" is a new project launched by Mnet to create a joint Korean-Japanese hip-hop girl group. With the goal of creating a new global hip-hop girl group, participants will directly participate in every aspect of the process, including music, choreography, styling, and video production, revealing their own unique style. Through hip-hop, the disparate cultures of Korea and Japan collide and merge, creating a new culture and growing into unique artists.

'Hip-Pop Princess' will premiere on Mnet at 9:50 PM on October 16th, and will be simultaneously aired in Japan on U-NEXT.
