[All] tvN's new drama Tyrant's Chef premieres on August 23

This is Yoona's first drama comeback in a long time, but she's up against such a strong production.

Ma Dong-seok, Park Hyung-sik, and Seo In-guk are appearing in KBS2 drama Twelve........

I was looking forward to it because the scale seemed so big~~~

If we stick together as a weekend drama and the times are the same;;; what do you think~~~

Which drama will make you laugh???

By the way, why does Yuna look so pretty in that chef outfit~~?

'The Tyrant's Chef' starring Im Yoon-ah (Yoona) will present an appetizer that will make viewers want to watch the first episode as a special broadcast before its first broadcast.

According to IZE's coverage on the 21st, tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'The Tyrant's Chef', which is considered one of the most anticipated dramas of the second half of the year and stars Im Yoon-ah, will meet viewers with a special episode 0 on August 17th ahead of its first broadcast on August 23rd. The broadcast date (broadcast date, time, etc.) is under final discussion and will be announced soon.

'The Tyrant's Chef' is a survival fantasy romantic comedy drama about chef Yeon Ji-young (Im Yoon-ah), who time-slips to the past during the best moment of her life, and meets King Lee Heon (Lee Chae-min), the worst tyrant and owner of an absolute sense of taste.

'The Tyrant's Chef', starring Im Yoon-ah and Lee Chae-min, has been considered one of the most anticipated tvN weekend dramas for the second half of this year. Im Yoon-ah will be returning to the small screen for the first time in two years since the JTBC drama 'King the Land' with 'The Tyrant's Chef'. The teaser videos and still cuts released before the first broadcast showed Im Yoon-ah's transformation into a cheerful and charismatic chef, promising to satisfy all five senses of viewers.

'The Tyrant's Chef' is the follow-up to 'Seocho-dong' starring Lee Jong-suk and Moon Ga-young. While 'Seocho-dong', which consists of 12 episodes, will end on August 10, 'The Tyrant's Chef' will premiere a week later, on August 23, instead of August 16. The week before the premiere, 'The Tyrant's Chef' will meet viewers through a special (episode 0) broadcast. It will be an appetizer to help viewers get more immersed in the main broadcast of 'The Tyrant's Chef' scheduled to air on August 17. It has been reported that the main actors will appear in person to introduce the work and preview its development. It is expected to be a special time to stimulate viewers' interest ahead of the first broadcast.

Also, since the first broadcast date of 'The Tyrant's Chef' is August 23rd, it will have a direct competition with KBS 2TV's Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'Twelve' in the same time slot (9 PM).

Attention is focused on where viewers' attention will be focused on the showdown between the two works.

The romantic comedy 'The Tyrant's Chef', which time-slips to the past and has a historical drama, is raising expectations as a drama that will satisfy all five senses of viewers, with fun to watch along with stimulating the salivary glands and increasing the excitement index. In addition to Im Yoon-ah and Lee Chae-min, reliable actors such as Kang Han-na, Choi Gwi-hwa, and Oh Eui-sik are appearing, adding to the fun of the drama.

Also, 'Twelve' (8 episodes in total) starring Ma Dong-seok is a work based on the 12 zodiac signs of the East. It was simultaneously broadcast on KBS 2TV and Disney Plus. It is an action hero film depicting the battle of 12 angels who live in human form to protect humans against evil forces. In addition to Ma Dong-seok, Park Hyung-sik and Seo In-guk played the lead roles. You can see Ma Dong-seok's signature punch action on your home theater.

The head-on showdown between 'The Tyrant's Chef', which promises to satisfy all five senses with Im Yoon-ah and Lee Chae-min, and 'Ma Dong-seok's' action film 'Twelve' is expected to further heat up the living room theaters in August.
