[All] Daegu fan cafe donated to children with cancer

 
(Xports News Reporter Lee Jeong-beom) Lim Young-woong's Daegu fan cafe donated 3 million won for the treatment of children with pediatric cancer.

Recently, Lim Young-woong's fan cafe 'Daegu Youngwoong Era Together Room' announced that they donated 3 million won to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation for the treatment of children with pediatric cancer to celebrate Lim Young-woong's birthday (June 16) and to wish for the success of his second full-length album.

This donation was raised through voluntary fundraising by fan cafe members, and the entire donation will be used to cover the treatment costs for children with cancer in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.



'Daegu Heroes Era Together Room' has been making anniversary donations three times since 2023. A fan club official said, "On the upcoming June 16th, we wanted to wish for Lim Young-woong's birthday and the success of his second full-length album, and convey courage and warmth to children fighting pediatric cancer." He continued, "It's a small gesture, but we hope that the 'value of togetherness' created by Lim Young-woong and 'Heroes Era' will have a positive impact on the world."

Director Ha Jeong-yeon of the Daegu Naeum Pediatric Cancer Center of the Korea Children's Leukemia Foundation said, "The sincere support and warm hearts of Lim Young-woong's fans are a great strength to the children and their families," and added, "I am grateful to Lim Young-woong and his fan club."

Meanwhile, the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation operates a treatment cost support and specialized program for children with cancer and their families. The foundation is also running a 'Very Special Day' anniversary donation campaign.
