The Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation, a non-profit organization specializing in pediatric cancer, announced on the 13th that Lim Young-woong's fan cafe in the Gwangju-Jeonnam region donated 7 million won and 200 Hickman pouches to be used for the treatment costs of children with cancer in the region. The Hickman pouches are necessary items for children who are wearing central venous lines (Hickman catheters) during cancer treatment.

Members of the fan cafe 'Heroes' era Gwangju-Jeonnam' gathered their hearts and sewed Hickman pouches themselves to celebrate Lim Young-woong's birthday (the 16th). They started their first donation in 2020 and have been sharing with children with cancer for the 6th year this year. Thanks to their beautiful hands, a total of 12 children have received treatment support so far.

A fan cafe official said, “We support singer Lim Young-woong, who has a warmer heart than anyone else, and we are happy to be able to put his wishes into practice together,” and added, “We will continue to share good influence together for a long time.”

Seo Seon-won, Secretary General of the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, expressed his gratitude, saying, “The positive influence of Lim Young-woong’s fans who consistently practice sharing is a great source of strength and hope for children with pediatric cancer.”

Meanwhile, the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation is working to improve the treatment environment for children with cancer through various projects, including providing treatment cost support for children with cancer in Korea and the Hickman Bag Campaign.
