On the 17th, an official from SBS explained to OSEN, "It is true that we are preparing a variety show featuring Lim Young-woong for the second half of the year. However, since it is still in the early planning stages, nothing has been decided yet."
On this day, YTN reported that Lim Young-woong would appear on SBS's new entertainment program 'Island Village Hero'. Regarding this, an SBS official cautiously explained to OSEN, "It is true that we are preparing a new SBS entertainment program in which Lim Young-woong will appear. However, it is still in the early planning stages."
SBS added, "'Island Village Hero' is also currently only a tentative title. The specific filming concept, period, and cast have not been decided yet, and discussions are ongoing. Although we are aiming for the second half of the year, nothing has been confirmed."
If confirmed, Lim Young-woong's solo entertainment show will be his first in two years since 'My Little Hero' released in 2023. Lim Young-woong recently met fans with the OST for the JTBC drama 'More Beautiful than Heaven', which ended.
