“I’m grateful to have met Lim Young-woong and to be healthy, but I’m also incredibly happy and inspired to participate in an event that has a positive impact,” he said. “I used to just donate money, but now that I’m participating in volunteer work myself, I’ve come to realize even more how good sharing is.”

In his speech, Oh Seung-rok, the Mayor of Nowon-gu, said, “Like Lim Young-woong, ‘Heroes’ Era’ is also at the forefront of donations anytime, anywhere,” and expressed his gratitude to the members of ‘Seoul Northeast Heroes Era.’

Meanwhile, the '2025 Hope Summer Sharing Campaign' is a summer sharing project promoted by the Community Chest of Korea, Fruit of Love, in cooperation with local governments across the country. This project was planned to help single senior citizens, the disabled, and vulnerable groups endure the intense summer heat.

Through this campaign, Nowon-gu produced and distributed kits containing heat wave response items such as cooling mats, hand fans, samgyetang, soap, and socks.
