Anticipation and interest are running high for singer Lim Young-woong's first solo special on "Immortal Songs." It's unprecedented.

KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs' (hereafter 'Immortal') will be recording Lim Young-woong's first solo special 'Immortal Songs' 'Lim Young-woong and Friends Special' at the KBS New Wing Open Hall in Yeouido on the 18th.

This special episode of 'Immortal's Immortal,' titled 'Lim Young-woong and Friends', will not only show the viewers the musical charm of 'singer Im Young-woong', but also contain honest stories about the friends who have laughed with him and comforted him along the way.

Singer Lim Young-woong will be joined by seven friends for his first solo special on "Immortal Songs." On the 5th, "Immortal Songs" announced the appearances of Lee Juck, Lyn, and Roy Kim.

On the 12th, approximately 990 people applied to be a member of the "Immortal Songs Judging Panel" (audience member) on the official "Immortal Songs" website. With nearly 1,000 applications pouring in in a single day, viewers' eagerness to witness the recording of the "Im Young-woong and Friends Special" was evident.

Viewers' interest in the "Lim Young-woong and Friends Special" began after "Immortal" released an official statement on the special episode on July 10th. Viewers and fans began lining up to apply for admission starting July 18th. After the "80th Anniversary of Liberation Special" and "The Blue" special were announced on July 30th, there was a lull until August 7th. Then, from August 8th to the 12th, applications for the "Lim Young-woong and Friends" special surged again.

While only the production team can view the application posts for the "Immortal Songs" judging panel, the majority of posts are for the upcoming "Lim Young-woong and Friends Special." Over 7,400 viewers have already submitted applications to the judging panel bulletin board. As of 9 a.m. on the morning of the 13th, applications for the judging panel are still pouring in. This is truly an unprecedented number of applications.

According to Eyes, the number of judges for the "Lim Young-woong and Friends Special" is expected to be around 500. Since the show will be held over two parts, the total number of judges is approximately 1,000.
