'Island Bachelor Hero' Lim Young-woong took a break from the flashy stage and transformed into a 'pollution-free island bachelor' on a healing trip to Wando Somo Island with his close friends.

The first episode of the new SBS entertainment show 'Island Bachelor Hero', which aired on the 26th, garnered much attention even before it aired, recording a nationwide viewership rating of 5.3% (Nielsen Korea), taking first place among Tuesday entertainment shows.

On that day's broadcast, Lim Young-woong headed to the island with "science nerd" Orbit and "Iron Bag Chef" Lim Tae-hoon. True to Lim Young-woong's words, "I wanted to have serious conversations in a remote place," the three boarded a boat at dawn and began their exciting journey. While surprised by the "self-sufficiency" concept, with no convenience stores or restaurants, they quickly adapted and maintained the lively atmosphere.

Lim Young-woong, who always tries to engage in science talks whenever he gets the chance, said, "We've done this more than five times in 30 minutes. The science talk will be edited out, so it's okay," revealing his "real friend" vibe. Looking out at the sea from aboard a boat, Lim Young-woong reminisced, saying, "I went to a lot of cruise events when I was unknown, and I think about those days a lot."

The bachelors who arrived at the island were panting from the steep slope, but couldn't help but marvel at the ocean views. The locals who saw Lim Young-woong rushed out barefoot to greet him, embracing him with warm embraces, a testament to the "national singer's" popularity. After a brief rest after the arduous journey, Lim Young-woong savored the healing experience, saying, "I felt so at ease that I fell asleep as soon as I lay down."

The trip was energized by the surprise arrival of Lee Yi-kyung, a close friend of Orbit. He showed up with his own ingredients, building a brick hearth and helping with the cooking, demonstrating his all-rounder side. However, after tasting Chef Im Tae-hoon's pot rice, he jokingly remarked, "It tastes like something even our ancestors would spit out at the ancestral rites table," drawing laughter. Orbit, who continued his science talk without pause, ultimately became the subject of a memorable "Neymar reaction."

At dinner, Lim Young-woong's second full-length album and the show's main theme song, "I'm a HERO," was revealed, heightening the atmosphere. The show's conclusion heightened anticipation with previews of Lim Young-woong's first-ever sea fishing adventure, heartfelt nighttime conversations, and a live performance from a corner of the room.

I guess the viewer ratings are also skyrocketing.
