Singer Lim Young-woong personally revealed the reason why he released his second full-length album as an album book instead of a CD.
On the 10th, Lim Young-woong's official YouTube channel released a video containing the filming of the music video for his new song "A Moment Like Eternity." In the video, Lim Young-woong shared his thoughts on filming, saying, "This song doesn't have a lot of physical choreography, so I tried to capture it in an emotionally enjoyable way." He continued, "I wanted to convey the message that life is short, so we should live happily. Looking back, time always goes by too quickly," explaining the meaning behind the lyrics.
He also said, “I apologize to those who have been waiting for the physical album, but I wanted to avoid a culture of competitively buying albums,” and explained the reason for not releasing the CD, saying, “I want people to focus purely on the music.”
Lim Young-woong released his second full-length album, "IM HERO 2," on the 29th of last month. It's been about three years since his first full-length album in 2022. This album contains a total of 11 tracks, including the title track "Moment Like Eternity," "Reply Sent," "ULSSIGU," "Wildflowers Will Be," and "It's Raining."
Notably, this album was produced in the form of an album book, consisting of Lim Young-woong's messages and pictorials, rather than a CD containing the audio. His agency, Fish Music, explained, "This decision was made in consideration of the reality of a decline in the number of people listening to music on CDs and environmental issues."
