Lim Young-woong's fan club, 'Youngwoongsidae Hongcheonbang', is going beyond simple fan activities and exerting a positive influence by strengthening solidarity with the local community, leaving a lasting impression.

 

Members of 'Hongwoongsidae Hongcheonbang' are attracting attention by carrying out a samgyetang (chicken soup) sharing volunteer activity for the local senior citizens to commemorate the 9th anniversary of Lim Young-woong's debut as a singer. On the 26th, the members served samgyetang that they boiled themselves to 100 senior citizens at the Haoan 1-2 ri senior citizen center in Hongcheon-eup. This is the fourth samgyetang sharing event this year, and samgyetang was previously served to senior citizens at the Changchon 2 ri senior citizen center in Naemyeon, Hongcheon (75 people), the Pungam ri senior citizen center in Seoseok-myeon (80 people), and the Hagunduri senior citizen center in Seoseok-myeon (50 people). In addition to the samgyetang, the members showed their warm hearts by gifting them with dishcloths they made themselves and photos of singer Lim Young-woong. The members plan to expand the samgyetang sharing volunteer activity to senior citizens at the Hongcheon-eup Jugong 1 and 2 senior citizen centers by the end of the year. 'Hongwoongsidae Hongcheonbang' has donated blankets, bottled water, and electric blankets to the Hongcheon-gun Senior Welfare Center every year since 2022, and donated 50 bottles (1.7 liters) of 'Sunshine Soy Sauce' ahead of this Chuseok. In addition, they have continued to contribute to the local community by providing scholarships to Hongcheon Girls' High School twice and continuing to donate to 'Saekkkijul', a social cooperative for children in the Dongmyeon area.
