Seoul National University Hospital announced on the 12th that it received a donation from singer Lim Young-woong's fan club for the Nexon Children's Integrated Care Center.

The donations totaled 12,616,000 won, and were raised directly by members of Heroes Era Laon to commemorate singer Lim Young-woong's birthday on June 16. Laon is a group formed by members of Heroes Era and has been consistently volunteering and supporting underprivileged neighbors, such as residential facilities for severely disabled children, shantytowns, Yongsan Box Village, and independent youth daycare centers.

In particular, this sponsorship is the second sponsorship following the Christmas donation at the end of last year. The sponsorship will be used for the operating expenses of the center so that better medical services can be provided to severely ill children and adolescent patients and their guardians who use the Nexon Children's Integrated Care Center.

Nexon Children's Integrated Care Center is Korea's first independent children's short-term care medical facility. It opened in November 2023 with the goal of providing patients and their families with a chance to rest and recharge by safely caring for severely ill children and adolescents who require 24-hour care for even just a few days. As of the end of May, a total of 269 patients have visited from all over the country to receive rest and treatment.

Ankatarina Leader (Laon, Heroes Era) said, “I deeply sympathize with the need for care support for severely disabled children and adolescent patients as I carry out monthly meal service volunteer work at residential facilities for severely disabled children,” and “I hope that this second sponsorship, following the Christmas donation at the end of last year to commemorate singer Lim Young-woong’s birthday, will be of some help to the patients and their families.”

Eunhwa Choi, the director of the Children’s Hospital, said, “I would like to thank you for your continued interest and meaningful donations to seriously ill children and their families since last year,” and “The funds you have sent will be used to help children and their families have new experiences and rest comfortably.”
