Singer Lim Young-woong added sincerity to his full-fledged acting challenge as actor Lim Young-woong.
Tving will release the short film 'In October (Director Kwon Oh-joon)', which contains Lim Young-woong's acting transformation, at noon on the 6th.
'In October' contains the story of the main character, a hero who survives in a world devastated by the spread of an infectious disease, overcoming various incidents that occur to him. Lim Young-woong is expected to give viewers a gentle resonance as he creates hope at the border between life and death.
This short film was first introduced as a music video for Lim Young-woong's self-composed song 'Warmth' released ahead of his solo concert. The music video was short but left a strong impression, and ranked first on YouTube's trending videos. As of the 5th, just two months after its release, it has surpassed 6.91 million cumulative views, proving the anticipation for the full-length film.
Director Kwon Oh-joon, who participated in the production of BTS's music videos, took charge of the production and brought out the lonely yet emotional beauty of the images. In addition, actors Ahn Eun-jin and Hyun Bong-sik appear as Hee-yeon and Jun-ho, delivering a deeper narrative and emotional range.
Tving is providing fans with a variety of content that fully records the birth and growth of Lim Young-woong, including the movie 'Mr. Trot: The Movie' which contains the live footage of the 'Tomorrow is Mr. Trot National Appreciation Concert' held in Seoul, and TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot F4's full-fledged growth entertainment show 'Bongsoonga Academy', and 'In October' will also be joining in.
