[All] Lim Young-woong donates all of his prize money from the King of Mask Singer competition to children with pediatric cancer, a 'good influence'

Singer Lim Young-woong has shown his positive influence by donating to children with cancer.
The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation announced on the 1st that Lim Young-woong donated the 2 million won prize money he received from the July King of Singers competition on Good Star to support the treatment costs of children suffering from pediatric cancer and rare and incurable diseases.
Good Star is a donation platform service that supports the good influence of stars. It operates by watching videos and songs of singers who participated in the King of Mask Singer competition within the app, cheering them on through in-app missions, and donating prize money according to ranking.
Singer Lim Young-woong, who achieved a donation amount of 84.4 million won through Good Star, is scheduled to release the movie 'IM-HERO - THE STADIUM', which contains the live footage of his solo concert held at Seoul World Cup Stadium last May, exclusively at CGV on August 28th.
The prize money from the King of Mask Singer competition donated in Lim Young-woong’s name will be used to cover the treatment costs for children suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases. The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s surgery and hospital treatment support project provides support of a minimum of 5 million won and a maximum of 30 million won to children under 25 years of age who have been diagnosed with pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases under the age of 19, and is used for surgery and hospital treatment costs, transplant costs, rare drug purchase costs, and hospital assistive devices.
Hong Seung-yoon, director of the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation, said, "We are continuously delivering messages of help and hope to children and their families in need. We support the future activities of singer Lim Young-woong, who is leading the way in social contribution by spreading positive influence."
Meanwhile, the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a non-profit foundation registered with the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2001. It carries out various activities such as supporting treatment and surgical expenses for children with pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare diseases, supporting outpatient treatment and emergency treatment expenses, providing emotional support, blood donation campaigns, and operating a shelter for children with pediatric cancer.
