Singer Lim Young-woong donated his prize money to children suffering from childhood cancer, leukemia, and rare and incurable diseases.

The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation (Chairman: Lee Seong-hee) announced on the 1st that singer Lim Young-woong donated the 2 million won prize money he received from the July King of Singers competition on Good Star to support the treatment costs of children suffering from pediatric cancer and rare incurable diseases.

Good Star is a donation platform service that supports the good influence of stars. It operates by watching videos and songs of singers who participated in the King of Mask Singer competition within the app, cheering them on through in-app missions, and donating prize money according to ranking.

The prize money from the King of Mask Singer competition donated in Lim Young-woong's name will be used to cover the treatment costs for children suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare and incurable diseases.

The Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation's surgical and hospital treatment cost support project provides support of a minimum of 5 million won and a maximum of 30 million won to children aged 19 or younger diagnosed with leukemia and rare and incurable diseases aged 25 or younger, and is used for surgical and hospital treatment costs, transplant costs, rare drug purchase costs, and hospital assistive device support.
