[All] "Im Young-woong is amazing" He took first place and... has already earned 3 billion won
Who is the singer with the strongest fandom in Korea right now? If you answer “Lim Young-woong,” it would at least not be a wrong answer. With his upright appearance and personality, and his thorough self-management that has not caused even a small scandal since his debut, Lim Young-woong has become the “nation’s son” and is receiving absolute support from his fandom, “Woongwoong Era.”
Lim Young-woong has prepared a gift to repay the love. The movie 'Lim Young-woong│I'm Hero The Stadium', which contains the live performance at Seoul World Cup Stadium on May 25-26, will be exclusively released at CGV nationwide on the 28th . This is Lim Young-woong's second movie, following 'I'm Hero The Final', which was released in March of last year and attracted 250,000 viewers.

Lim Young-woong, who visited the press preview room at the CGV Yongsan I-PARK MALL in Seoul on the 22nd , said, “I wanted to express my gratitude to Heroes through the movie. I hope those who couldn’t come to the theater can feel the same emotion.” Hundreds of Heroes gathered outside the preview room to welcome Lim Young-woong. CGV set up a separate emergency booth in case of an emergency. A female fan in her 60s said, “Even though I couldn’t see the preview, I came here to at least see (Lim Young-woong’s) face,” and “I will come to see the movie whenever I have time when it’s released.” The fans waited for Lim Young-woong while calmly maintaining order under the guidance of the on-site staff.
The film is a 108- minute documentary about the live performance and behind-the-scenes stories that became a hot topic to the point that the ticket prices on the black market reached 5 million won, becoming a social issue. Over the two days, 100,000 people came to the concert, and the number of fans cheering outside the stadium was said to be similar. Could there be a greater gift for fans who were stamping their feet because they couldn't get tickets?
This is not a movie that simply reports the actual performance. It deals with the process of creating the performance, Lim Young-woong's musical concerns and evaluations, and the various people around him who helped create the concert. The movie begins with Lim Young-woong's confession, "Because there was the Heroes Era, my dream could become reality, and I think I am still living in the world that the Heroes Era created." This is followed by Lim Young-woong's performance in a splendid stage costume reminiscent of Michael Jackson. The dramatic effect was enhanced by appropriately editing and arranging the two-day concert.

The clip video that appears after a couple of songs has a refreshing effect. Lim Young-woong’s love for soccer can be felt in his choice to set up a light mobile stage to protect the grass of the World Cup Stadium and to empty the entire ground, which is usually filled with audiences, at other performances. Lim Young-woong also talks about his philosophy that soccer and songs are “similar in that you have to make an effort to realize it yourself.”
There are also concerns about trying to break away from the stereotype of someone who came from a trot competition program. After saying, “I’ve liked various genres of music since I was young. I want to find my own music,” he shows that he is a singer who can handle various genres by placing the dance song “Do or Die.” In the actual movie, there are only 2-3 trot songs in the first half.
Kim Eana, who wrote the lyrics for the new song 'Warmth' and the hit song 'Now Trust Me', said about the work process, "Lim Young-woong's music is mature and elegant adult music. It can embrace all generations." Lim Young-woong is the musician who fits the genre of 'adult contemporary' that the West calls it.
In addition to Lim Young-woong, various other characters appear. Interviews with session musicians and choreographers, staff members who guide the audience or sell goods during the performance, and people in charge of the AS cheering stick booth, etc., were added to the video.
The box office success is already guaranteed. As of the 23rd , it has maintained the top spot in advance ticket sales, with over 100,000 moviegoers (Korean Film Council Integrated Computer Network for Movie Tickets). In particular, special screening rooms such as IMAX and ScreenX are sold out, making it difficult to get tickets.
It is estimated that up to this day, advance ticket sales alone have generated over 3 billion won in theater sales. Based on CGV , the ticket prices are set at 25,000 won for general theaters, 35,000 won for IMAX , and 32,000 won for ScreenX .
CGV said, "We will hold an event where we will give various special benefits to audiences who watch the movie from the opening day, depending on the format." Audiences who watch the movie in IMAX will receive a special IMAX poster ( A3 ) with a special processing printing effect.
Those who watch the movie in ScreenX will be given a photo card set (2 types in 1 set) containing stills from Lim Young-woong's concert. Those who watch the movie in 2D will be given a CGV original goods TTT ( That's The Ticket ), and all those who receive TTT will be given an additional bonus ticket.
