‘Lim Young-woong Forest 2’ Created in Nanji Hangang Park, Seoul

Lim Young-woong Forest No. 2 was created in Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul.

According to Melon, the largest music platform in Korea operated by Kakao Entertainment, on the 24th, the eighth forest, 'Lim Young-woong 2 Forest' and the ninth forest, 'EXO Forest', of the eco-friendly project 'Forest; Trimming' were created at Seoul Nanji Park on the 23rd and opened to the public.

'Forest; Trimming' is a project that will provide any Melon paying member with the opportunity to create a forest named after an artist starting in June 2022.

If you select your favorite artist name on the 'Forest;Trimming' page while using Melon's regular payment plan, up to 2% of the monthly payment amount will be automatically accumulated. Afterwards, if a total of 20 million won is accumulated for the artist, the entire amount will be donated to the Seoul Environmental Association to create a forest named after the artist in Seoul.

Following the creation of the third forest, 'Lim Young-woong Forest', in July of last year as part of 'Forest;Trimming', this year, the 'Lim Young-woong Forest 2' was created by surpassing the 40 million won mark in accumulated funds.

'Lim Young-woong Forest No. 2' is composed of a total of 403 trees, including 3 poplar trees, 300 cypress trees, and 100 arrow trees, with different tree species from Forest No. 1. Forest No. 1 was previously composed of 3 poplar trees and 400 namul trees.
