Dasan Books donates to the Korean Social Welfare Society in commemoration of the publication of 'Who? Special Lim Young-woong'

The Korean Social Welfare Society (Chairman Kang Dae-seong) announced on the 24th that the publisher Dasan Books (CEO Kim Seon-sik) donated 100 copies of the book "Who? Special Lim Young-woong" and a portion of the sales proceeds to the Korean Social Welfare Society to foster a desirable reading culture for children in protective facilities.

'Who? Special Lim Young-woong' was published this month as part of the 'WHO Series' of biographies for children by Dasan Children, an affiliate of Dasan Books. It is a book that humorously explains the experiences and growth process of singer Lim Young-woong until he became a national trot singer through comics. Children are expected to learn everything from understanding the trot genre to Lim Young-woong's secrets to success, and develop creativity and literacy, which are necessary capabilities for future society.

The 100 copies of 'Who? Special Lim Young-woong' donated by Dasan Books will be distributed to the Korea Social Welfare Association's child welfare facilities, and the donations will be used to help families in crisis who are in blind spots of welfare.

A representative from Dasan Books said, “Through the consistent donations of singer Lim Young-woong and his fan club Youngwoong Sidae, we have learned that happiness grows when shared,” and added, “We hope that this sponsorship will be of help to underprivileged neighbors, just like their good influence.”

Dae-seong Kang, the chairman of the Korean Social Welfare Society, said, “Thank you for donating to underprivileged children in Korea,” and added, “The Korean Social Welfare Society will actively support the dreams of children who will shoulder the future of our society.”
