All these footsteps are linked to profits. Lim Young-woong's agency, Fish Music, is Lim Young-woong's one-man agency established in 2015. Lim Young-woong owns 50% of the shares, and CEO Shin Jeong-hoon and two others own the remainder. Lim Young-woong's income, called a 'walking small business', can be confirmed through the audit report.
According to the audit report released on the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system in April, Fish Music’s sales last year were 36,056 million won, up about 1% from the previous year. Operating profit was recorded at 11,359 million won.
Music, album, and performance revenue was 24.814 billion won, media content revenue was 5.017 billion won, and advertising revenue was 1.589 billion won. Music, album, and performance revenue and advertising revenue decreased by about 5 billion won compared to the previous year, but media content revenue, which was about 850 million won in 2022, jumped to 5 billion won. The number of subscribers to the official YouTube channel has currently increased to about 1.68 million.
Lim Young-woong personally received about 19.3 billion won in service fees. The service fees are expenses paid to affiliated singers, and Fish Music pays them all to Lim Young-woong. If you add the unpaid wages of affiliated artists (about 3.2 billion won) and dividends (1 billion won), it comes to about 23.5 billion won. In 2022, he earned about 14.3 billion won.
