[All] ‘Trot Trend’ Lim Young-woong Syndrome Academic Conference Held

An academic conference will be held with singer Lim Young-woong (pictured) as its theme.

The Society of Korean Popular Music (Chairman Lee Ki-woong) will hold a regular academic conference on the 30th in collaboration with the East Asian Studies Institute of Sungkonghoe University in the main auditorium of the main building of Korea National Open University in Seoul to examine Lim Young-woong’s popularity and the social phenomena surrounding him. The society stated, “This will be a time to analyze and discuss the socio-cultural meanings of his music and stardom under the theme of ‘Lim Young-woong.’”
